What Covid precautions are you taking?

Answer

To ensure we are able to celebrate our wedding safely and responsibly - protecting both our elderly & immunocompromised guests, as well as our community at large - we politely request that ONLY fully vaccinated friends and family attend our wedding. Furthermore, due to recent evidence of infection between even vaccinated individuals, we ask that all attendees ALSO obtain a negative Covid test result within 2-3 days prior to the event.

Where can we get a Covid test prior to the wedding?

Answer

While most will likely choose to get tested prior to traveling to Saint Michaels, the following options are available in town: The Talbot County Health Department offers drive-up testing, but results typically take 48 hours. What is a Cocktail-Style Reception?

Answer

We are hosting a cocktail-style reception, which means guests are encouraged to mix and mingle throughout the evening! Since each guest won’t have an assigned seat, we ask that you be courteous of others and vacate your seat once you’re finished eating. The idea is to sip a little, dance a little, eat a little and repeat! Food stations will be open for multiple hours so you can graze at your leisure and cocktails will be flowing all night! Cheers!

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttles picking up from select hotels to take you to and from the wedding. More information on pickup times will be forthcoming!

Is Uber available in St. Michaels?

Answer

St. Michaels is a very walkable town. If you're staying in town, you can walk to most places listed on our Things To Do page. Uber is available in St. Michaels sparingly on the weekends, but service is very limited. As an alternative, there are two taxi companies that serve the area: Key Lime Taxi (410-996-4950) and Bay Country Taxi: 410-770-9030. Also, if you find yourself in need of a ride home from the local bar, Carpenter Street Saloon, they offer a free shuttle (tips appreciated!). Just ask the bartender when the next shuttle will be leaving.
