FAQs

The Wedding Website of Samantha Gonzalez and Michael Vazquez
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by Wednesday December 1, 2027. If we do not hear from you by this day, we will assume that you are unable to attend and you will be missed!

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP through this website. We appreciate your response and look forward to celebrating with you.

Question

What should I do if i cant make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space we are only able to accommodate those formally invited, so we’re only able to include the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for respecting our wishes and helping us keep our celebration intimate!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our flower girl. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Can I take pictures or videos?

Answer

As thoughtful as that is, we are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like. We have a QR code that you can use to upload your photos and videos so we can get some behind the scenes too of our special day!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up with us, so the dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor length, tea length or midi formal dresses. Gentleman can wear a suit. No jeans or trainers or sweats please.

Question

Are there any colors guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

Our bridal party will be wearing sky blue/dark blue, so please refrain from wearing light/dark blues, or a similar color, as we wish for our bridal party to stand out. In addition to this, please do not wear white, ivory, cream, or a similar shade.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We’ll be saying “I do” and enjoying cocktail hour outdoors, surrounded by the natural beauty of our venue, before heading inside for dinner and dancing. Umbrellas will be available for sun or rain, fans to cool off if needed and for anyone ready to kick off their heels, flip flops will be waiting!

Question

What will the weather be like in Florida in February?

Answer

Florida in February is usually mild and beautiful, with daytime temperatures in the 70s and cooler evenings in the 50s–60s. We recommend light layers and a jacket or wrap for the evening.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony. This will allow time for you to get through the gate, park, take a look around outdoors and take your seat. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony, you will not be seated and will have to wait until the start of cocktail hour. Please allow extra time for traffic because this is Florida after all.

Question

What's the best airport to fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Miami International Airport (MIA) which is about 35-45 minutes from the venue or as a second option Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) which is about 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the venue. Both options offer plenty of flights with nearby hotels. Which hotels can be found on the Travel page.

Question

When should I arrive and depart

Answer

When you arrive and depart is entirely up to you! We hope you’re able to enjoy this as a vacation as well and spend as much time as you’d like in the area.

Question

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer

There are several hotels nearby which we have included under the travel tab. However, below are a few recommendations: •Courtyard by Marriott Miami Homestead •Hilton Garden Inn Homestead •Hampton Inn & Suites Miami-South/Homestead

Question

Are there hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved room blocks at the three hotels listed on our website for your convenience. To receive the discounted room block rate, reservations must be made by the cutoff date listed with each hotel. Guests are also welcome to book other hotels or Airbnb accommodations that best fit their preferences and travel needs.

Question

Is transportation provided for the wedding day?

Answer

While transportation will not be provided, we encourage guests to coordinate travel or carpool with one another for ease and convenience—especially if you plan to rent a car.

Question

when i arrive at the venue where should i park?

Answer

A designated parking area will be available at the venue for guests who prefer to drive rather than use a rideshare service.

Question

can i leave my car at the venue overnight?

Answer

Due to venue policies, cars must be removed at the end of the evening and cannot be left overnight. We encourage arranging a designated driver, rideshare, or carpool ahead of time.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, liquor, two specialty cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages are on us!

Question

what food will be served and how will dietaries be shared?

Answer

Dinner will be served during the reception and will include a selection of steak entrées, a chicken option, and a delicious pineapple entrée. Appetizers and salad will also be served, with vegetarian options available. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let the bride or groom know in advance so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

We are so thankful for the time, effort, and travel many of you are making to celebrate with us—your presence means everything. We do not expect gifts, but for those who have asked, we would be grateful for a contribution toward our honeymoon.

Question

what is the wet weather plan?

Answer

In the event that weather does not allow for an outdoor ceremony, the ceremony will be moved indoors and held in the same building where the reception will take place so we can continue celebrating together comfortably.

Question

Are there events before or after the wedding?

Answer

To keep things simple and stress-free—especially for those traveling—there will be no additional events planned before or after the wedding.

Question

Who can I contact with questions?

Answer

If you don’t see your question answered here, please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom—we’re always happy to assist.
