Things To Do

We hope you will love Greater Cincinnati as much as we do!
Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption

Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption

1140 Madison Ave, Covington, KY 41011
, (513) 721-6544

Thousands of visitors come to the Cathedral Basilica annually to admire this great work of church architecture modeled after the Notre Dame in Paris. The round central window is a replica of the circular rose window at Notre Dame and the north transept is said to contain the world's largest handmade church stained glass window, at 67 ft × 24 ft, depicting the Ecumenical Council of Ephesus in 431 AD that proclaimed Mary as the Mother of God There are public tours following every 10 a.m. Sunday Mass.

The Blind Lemon

The Blind Lemon

936 Hatch Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202
, (513) 241-3885

By far our favorite Cincinnati bar that has a great outdoor area, live acoustic music, and a killer mojito. You will find a variety of music styles ranging from Blues, Rock, and Jazz all played acoustically filtering through a one-of-a-kind garden atop the hill in Mount Adams. The Blind Lemon has been recognized as one of the best bars in Cincinnati and the country and has had its fair share of the occasional celebrity appearance, from Dick Clark to George Clooney. Mount Adams is also home to the Holy Cross Immaculata Church, a beautiful church atop of one of the highest spots in Cincinnati overlooking the “City of Seven Hills” - the site where Clay proposed.

Cincinnati Art Museum

Cincinnati Art Museum

953 Eden Park Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45202
, (513) 721-2787

We went here on our first date and about a dozen times since. It has free daily admission and is one of our favorite spots.

Smale Riverfront Park

Smale Riverfront Park

166 West Mehring Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202
, (513) 352-6180

A beautiful spot on the riverfront with a playground, splash pad, and carousel for the kiddos. The Roebling Bridge is an easy walk that brings you into Covington. We came here after a Red's game on our second date when we become "official." :)

Over-The-Rhine

Over-The-Rhine

Cincinnati, OH

A great neighborhood in Cincinnati. Vine Street is a great place to start in OTR. Some of our favorite spots to eat and drink are Revolution Rotisserie, Taft's, The Eagle, Taste of Belgium, Rosedale, Goodfellas, Holtman's Donuts, LouVino, and so so many more.

Findlay Market

Findlay Market

1801 Race Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202
, (513) 665-4839

Findlay Market, founded in 1852, is in the historic Over-the-Rhine (OTR) neighborhood in Cincinnati and is the state's oldest continuously operated public market home to over three dozen indoor merchants selling meat, fish, poultry, produce, flowers, cheese, deli, and ethnic foods. It’s the last remaining of the nine that once served the city. Newsweek named it one of the top ten public markets in the world in 2019 and is a great place to check out on Saturday mornings.

Mainstrasse

Mainstrasse

473W West 5th Street, Covington, KY 41011
, (859) 431-7049

If you are looking for a neighborhood with an “Old World” charm, look no further than the local Main Street or “Mainstrasse” in Covington. This Nationally Registered Historic District is home to a variety of local bars and eateries in a historic 19th-century German neighborhood that’s reminiscent of a small village in Germany. The town-square contains to a 100-foot German Gothic clock tower that acts out one of the Brother Grimm fairy-tale stories of the Rat-Catcher of Hamelin. We love Otto's for brunch and Gypsy's for their happy hour!

Newport on the Levee

Newport on the Levee

1 Levee Way, Newport, KY 41071
, (859) 291-0550

So many options for things to do or eat! Newport is a riverside commercial complex featuring a large aquarium, brand-name stores, a cinema & eateries. America's First Hofbräuhaus is right around the corner as well. It has access to two bridges you can walk across into Cincinnati, one famously known as the 'Purple People Bridge' because its purple, and is only for people!

New Riff Distilling

New Riff Distilling

24 Distillery Way, Newport, KY 41073
, (859) 261-7433

Want to hit part of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail while in town? This local distillery is a great place to start! Their tours include tastings. If you are a fan of bourbon and if New Riff is not on your radar, you need to follow them. They’re one of the most exciting new distilleries in the world. Named "Top 20 Whiskies of 2019" and won a Double Gold medal for each of the five categories it entered at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Braxton Brewing Company

Braxton Brewing Company

27 West 7th Street, Covington, KY 41011
, (859) 261-5600

Another brewery heavy hitter in Covington with a newly-created Rooftop Bar. Braxton has several other locations including the Braxton Barrel Room in Ft. Mitchell, and Braxton Labs. Braxton Labs is located in the Party City (shares a parking lot with New Riff Distillery). The space is home to beers that are both on and off trend, educational experiments for the curious craft beer drinker. You'll never truly know what kinds of beer flavors are out there until you've gone to Braxton Labs.

Rhinegeist Brewery

Rhinegeist Brewery

1910 Elm Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202
, (513) 381-1367

A Cincinnati classic. Rhinegeist means "Ghost of the Rhine," and refers to their place within the historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati. Rhinegeist has a huge space with plenty of room to sit (German Bierhall Table Style) or play corn hole with food and enjoy your favorite craft beer selection. The Rooftop Bar is a must-see for those 21 and up.

16-Bit Bar + Arcade

16-Bit Bar + Arcade

1331 Walnut St, Cincinnati, OH 45202
, (513) 381-1616
