We're Getting Maui'd!

For those who don’t know, Zach and I met at work, which just so happens to be a prison. We started messaging on Facebook which led to our first date at a movie (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) and pizza at Old Chicago. A couple months later we started dating and three years later we were engaged!

I was born in Colorado but since then I've lived in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Louisiana. In 2016 I moved back to MN and started a career with the Department of Corrections. I met Zach in 2018 and about 4 years later we got engaged in the most beautiful place on earth - Haleakala National Park in Maui, Hawaii. In 2020 me and Zach became pur-ents to two crazy cat brothers, Oscar and Remus. Fun Facts: I have eight siblings and I've been to 46 states.

I was born and raised in Minnesota. After graduating from Winona State University with a degree in Criminal Justice: Corrections, I accepted a Correctional Officer position at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Red Wing, MN. This is where I met the love of my life fellow Officer Samantha Ness (Now Sergeant). Most people might say that having to work with your spouse sounds like a nightmare but I disagree. Being able to work with Sam has done nothing but make me love her more and more each day. While away from work Sam and I enjoy the outdoors, going to see some of the most beautiful scenery the country has to ofter. From Acadia to Joshua Tree, The Great Smokey Mountains to Mount Rainier, and some many places in between.
