Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Answer

We love your kids, but this is an adults-only event, with a few exceptions. Several guests have, or will have, babies under one. Those babies are allowed at the event, although if you can get a sitter, even better! We want all of our guests ready to PARTYYYYY!

How do I get to Stevenson, WA?

Answer

We recommend flying into the Portland airport (PDX). It’s just under an hour away from Skamania Lodge. These are some shuttle companies that Skamania recommends to get you from the airport to the venue: portlandride.com and explorethegorge.com. If you’re more local, it’s a great road trip! Please note the nearest bridge, the Bridge of the Gods, is a toll bridge. Save your dollar bills!

Is the wedding indoors?

Answer

We are getting married in the Riverfront Pavilion, which is outdoor but covered and heated. The reception will be indoors in the ballroom.

Will Poppy be at the wedding?

Answer

While the venue is dog-friendly, Poppy is a jumble of emotions and would not do well in that setting and it would stress Poppy’s parents out, so no.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/semi formal. Dresses, suits, etc. are encouraged but we want you to wear what makes you feel your best.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We hope you stay at Skamania Lodge with us! There is a discount code on this website’s Travel page. There are several other hotels in the area if you’d prefer something else.
