In 2018, they met at church in NYC. Sam was playing on the worship team. Five minutes into their conversation, Sam was showing Trish his hometown and the lake where he grew up ice skating. Fast forward a couple of years later to 2020; they reconnected at a filming at the church studio. Trish asked Sam out for coffee which turned to a dinner date in Ft Greene where Sam proposed to Trish a year later!

His love for God, the way he prays, his steadiness, and how he makes me laugh. (More than one thing but I rarely play by the rules)

Trish is compassionate and kind and she laughs at my silly jokes.

We are praying and believing our unity brings people around us to God. We have been so impacted by God's love that we want our marriage and friendship to point people to Him!
