We met at Caesar Rodney High school. We'd pass each other in the hallway and lunch table gatherings but we never spoke. One day, it clicked, that maybe, just maybe a hi would suffice. Through Sam's sister and mutual friends, with time we became really close friends. We talked about marvel, and transformer movies. Shared pizza crust and laughs in the lunch room. Stayed after school, and met up at track meets. Texted and talked all night about random things. We grew up in life together, and the rest is history. There's no Sam without Symphony, and there's no Symphony without Sam. We became inseparable.
We went on a family cruise, and one of the stops were San Juan, Puerto Rico. San Juan was our touring spot, so we did not plan for any additional activities that day. I was told to "wear something else," besides what I had planned to, by his little sister. Not thinking - this may finally, be the day. We were walking through Paseo de la Princesa. It was such a gorgeous day, hot, but nonetheless gorgeous! I was vlogging/recording the entire trip so while we were walking I was capturing everything. The birds, the flowers, us walking. You name it. Sam walked away to a huge statue near the water, while I was still sight seeing. I went to follow him, and I had no idea his family, quietly snuck off to the side to get their cameras ready. I was playing a song that I felt would be appropriate for a vlog video, and Sam said he would record me looking into the water for random, spontaneous footage. I asked him if he got the shot, and I turned around (while the song is still playing) and there he was. On his knee. It was happening!!!!!! My mouth was wide open for a good amount of the time he was talking. He said it would be his pleasure to make me his wife. I screamed, jumped (multiple times, and I mean multiple), and shouted YES! That moment is still, by far the best day of our lives. Can't wait to celebrate another special time!
