Maid of Honor
Victoria and I met when a mutual friend suggested that we become college roomies. That situation worked a little too well! We lived together for three years at UVA and three more in Arlington. Highlights include pushing our beds together in our dorm room and hosting the annual Christmas party where we BOTH found future husbands! Sam and Vic have been close friends since high school, and Sam refers to her as his ride or die chick.
Maid of Honor
Nancy and I met in sixth grade at Robious Middle School. We quickly became besties to the point of insisting on sleepovers during hurricanes and snow storms. Several choreographed dances have been created over the years in preparation for a night like 08.18.18. Fingers crossed that the band will approve our playlist. Introspective from a young age, Nancy's first AIM screen name was "itsallabtme10". Not much has changed.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and I met in Chi Omega where we were invaluable members of the sisterhood on the rush name tag committee. We have also dabbled in the field of professional organizing (ask the Grey family for references). Lauren survived a trip to the Urbanna Oyster Festival with my family, so she is fully prepared for her role as a bridesmaid.
Bridesmaid
Lindsay was the one person in my pledge class whose name I could NOT remember. Once we figured out we were both nursing majors, we spent a LOT of time together in class, clinicals, libraries, and (most importantly) The Virginian. During our 4th year, we lived together in Tiger Stadium and almost got abandoned by our cruise ship in the Bahamas.
Bridesmaid
Meg and I met in high school as students (read: nerds) in the Center for Leadership and International Relations. Eventually she gave in and decided to join our friend group. We both went to UVA and lived across the hall from each other in Beta Bridge our 2nd year. Meg qualified for the state competition in public speaking in high school, so having her in the wedding party is a dangerous liability.
Bridesmaid
Another Robious Raider, Sara and I met as middle school cheerleaders. We reconnected as sorority sisters in Chi Omega (shenanigans ensued), and ended up being coworkers and carpool buddies in DC. Sara and I share a love of nachos, barre class, discussing women's health issues over pinot noir, and all other activities involving pinot noir.
Bridesmaid
Eileen and I were pledge sisters in Chi O and became close when we lived together in Tiger Stadium. Eileen loves making her bed, unplugging electronics, being fashionably late, and is always on board to enable my love for overpriced wining and dining. During our recent travels to the Hamptons, this tiny human met Madonna's personal assistant and debuted her gymnastics skills aboard a yacht appropriately named "Eastbound and Down".

Best Man
Jake is my older brother and close friend. He and I share pretty much all of the same interests but still have never failed to find things to fight about. Jake lives the "rough life" of being a golf superintendent on Hilton Head Island. He loves playing golf, Clemson sports, and your standard jam bands from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Jake recently became a dog owner to a beautiful chocolate lab named Watson, who I have yet to meet in person, but already like more than Jake.
Groomsman
Carter and I have been great friends since 5th grade when he transferred to Millwood. Tragically, we were separated in high school and became great friends again in August of 2008 when we pledged Kappa Sigma at JMU. I unintentionally stole Carter's thunder when I proposed to Susan three days after he got engaged to the beautiful Katri Lindholm. Our friendship can be characterized by deep conversations about nothing, rampant sarcasm, and extremely disproportionate golfing abilities.
Groomsman
Rohan and I have been friends since we were classmates in high school. He also became good friends with Susan when they attended UVA, but in the words of country music band Heartland, "I loved her (him) first." Rohan was the only person from my high school friend group that I could talk sports with; and by talking I mean arguing incessantly. i.e. Lebron > Kobe. Rohan loves Lakers basketball, Redskins football, casinos, and sleeping. Sometimes those last two coincide.
Groomsman
Dylan and I became friends sophomore year of college when we moved into Colonial (our fraternity house). We quickly realized we both possessed unparalleled abilities to quote movies such as "Anchorman", "Step Brothers" "Role Models" and "I Love You, Man;" and those jokes still make up 90% of our conversations. Dylan is an awesome painter, enjoys weird music, and talking about that weird music. We go long periods without seeing each other but always pick up right where we left off, the mark of a true friendship.
Groomsman
Page and I have been great friends since high school and share the rare feat of only having one picture where there isn't someone standing between us. He also became very good friends with Susan at UVA and is one of her favorite dance partners; an honor he wears proudly. Page is looking forward to reuniting on stage with our wedding band. He loves food, river-related activities, and getting beaten mercilessly in Halo.
Groomsman
Garrett and I have been best friends pretty much since birth and have shared more hilarious moments than I can count. I'm seriously struggling to keep this description as PG as possible. He and I share a love of golf and form a dangerous tandem when we team up. After graduating from JMU we lived together for nearly 3 1/2 years until the whole me proposing to Susan thing happened. Sad! He enjoys playing golf, politics, having worse hair than me, and asking people if they have seen movies he knows they've already seen. All around great guy, some would even call him the Total Package.
Groomsman
Joseph and I have been friends since high school and were classmates for 7 years. That number might seem strange, and it is, because Joseph made the interesting decision to spend his first year of college in Gunnison, Colorado or better known as the setting of "Alien vs. Predator - Requiem." He eventually wised up, transferred to JMU and pledged Kappa Sigma. I selected him as my little brother in the fraternity which is hilarious in of itself considering he's older than me. He enjoys traveling, living in other countries (the more dangerous the better), and Columbia vests. He's also the nicest guy you'll meet.
