Our favorite breakfast spot in RVA--no reservations, so it's best for people who wake up on the early side!
Get in line early on Saturday morning for these walk-up window French pastries! They sell out fast.
Our go-to for a good cup of coffee (roasted in RVA!) Their olive oil cake is also to die for.
Our favorite picnic spot in the city! This museum is really close to all of our venues, and so worth a walk-through. There's an amazing Frida Kahlo exhibit (and gift shop :)) there right now.
The perfect place to spend a few hours--Shelflife books, World of Mirth toystore, and Merrymaker stationary shop are some of our favorites.
Best matzoh ball soup in town. Open for lunch and dinner!
There are several of these around the city, but they're a great place to stop if you need some good grab-and-go food and drink! We love their hot paninis and greek salad.
There are so many trails and loops around the James River! We recommend starting near Belle Isle, Pumphouse Park, or Pony Pasture.
A perfect place to take a stroll or go exploring with young kids! They have a nature center, a petting zoo, and beautiful gardens (free entry).
Bowling with food, drink, and often a dance party on the weekends! We might end up here on Friday night after the welcome drinks.
A quirky old hotel that's been turned into an indoor putt-putt course; they have a fun lounge area where you can have food and drink before/after your game.
