Yes! Please plan for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to take place outside on the resort property. You can find more details on the "schedule" tab.
Your time and presence at our wedding are gift enough. If you would like to contribute to our registry or honeymoon fund you are welcome to do so. Please send any gifts to our place of residence in Arizona.
Our special day will be spent outdoors, so please plan accordingly. Semi-formal attire, sundresses, light fabrics - all are welcome!
All guests may book dining reservations 45 days in advance here: https://www.garzablancaresort.com/cancun/dining/reservations Please read through the restaurant details, menus, and dress codes prior to booking to ensure you're getting the experience you'd like! There is also a food truck, two bars, and the brand-new Gourmet Food Hall where you can choose your food adventure.
We would strongly recommend booking transportation from the airport to the resort in advance. You have a few options! Option #1 is the resort's transportation vendor, Bonvo DMC. We will have a booking link soon where you can book directly. Email: ventas2@bonvodmc.com One way transportation pricing to or from Garza Blanca Cancun Resort is $77 USD per van (1–4 passengers). Each additional passenger over 4 is $19 USD. Taxes included. Car seats are available at no additional cost. Option #2 is through USA Transfers. Prices vary based on number of guests and type of car. Approximately $120 USD round trip. Cheaper option and just as reliable. Car seats are available at no additional cost. Website: https://usa-transfers.com/ Option #3 is the Resort Travel Agency Email: gteagencia@mycancunexperience.com If you don’t want to plan ahead for transportation to the airport or excursions, there is a travel agency located in the resort lobby. They can assist with bookings directly on the property.
You have multiple options depending on what you'd like to do. All of the booking sites listed under the transportation details above have options for excursions. Look through those and book what looks best suited for you! You can also use Viator.com, which is a reputable travel-experience website. It's easy to navigate and has reviews listed for each experience.
Cocktail hour will include drinks and light bites. Once guests move to the ceremony location, there will be a full Mexican food buffet. This includes salad options, ceviche, slow roasted pork, fajitas, and veracruz style fish. Served with that will be rice, beans, potatoes and tortillas. A selection of desserts will also be available!
Before you leave, you are required to complete your VisiTAX. Please see the FAQ regarding that for more details. Additional things that will help you to get through the airport and simplify travel: 1. Add your passport information to your flight details through the airline website or app 2. Sign up for a tourist card at https://www.cancunairport.com/tourist-card.html 3. Pre-book transportation to the resort 4. Don't forget your passport and keep it available in a safe spot 5. Once you get through customs, find your bags and get to your (pre-booked) transportation. Don't stop for the sales and timeshare people! 6. The pre-transportation margaritas are great, but expensive. :)
This must be paid for before your trip on the VisiTAX website (https://www.visitax.gob.mx/sitio/). This is the only website where you can pay for this - do not pay via any other website. This payment is also tied to your passport, so proof of purchase is not required as long as you have your passport. Save your receipt/QR code for easy access just in case.
