Matron of Honor
Erica and Sam have been cheering each other on for over a decade now. They both hail from Exeter, CA where they met in high school. Fun Fact: The first night Sam met Erica, she was initiated into Midnight Swim Club. She's also married to our officiant, Mitchell.
Best Man
Marvin and Quintin met in high school over 15 years ago. Fun Fact: Marvin's speech made Sam cry at fellow groomsman, Jordan's, wedding last year. Bring on the speech, Marvin!
Bridesmaid
Yisel and Sam met in undergrad at Sacramento State, where they were both teaching preschool at the ASI Children's Center. Quintin has also known Yisel for over 10 years. Fun Fact: Sam used to be Yisel's Supervisor.
Groomsman
Matt is Quintin's oldest brother. Fun Fact: Matt has always been Quintin's biggest role model.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Sam have been good friends since kindergarten and were Girl Scouts together for almost 10 years. Fun Fact: Emily's mom, Sheree, was their Girl Scout Leader!
Groomsman
Marcus is the second born of Quintin's 4 siblings. Fun Fact: Quintin vividly remembers wrestling with Marcus constantly growing up. Q said it was never a fair fight!
Bridesmaid
Sara and Sam have been friends since the 8th grade where they met in Ms. Hick's American History class. Fun Fact: In high school Sara drove a cherry red 1969 Ford Mustang.
Groomsman
Mello and Quintin have been friends since middle school. Fun Fact: The first time they met, Mello had just been pooped on by a bird.
Bridesmaid
Becky and Sam met in grad school and even worked together for several months following graduation. Fun Fact: Becky previously lived in India where she worked with families who were rescued from bonded labor.
Groomsman
Jordan and Quintin have been friends since High School. Fun Fact: Jordan once gave Quintin a ride home, but Q was on the hood of his car...don't try that at home, kids.
Sophia, Bethany, Clementine, & Winifred
Sophia and Bethany are the daughters of Quintin's brother Marcus and his wife, Tiffany. Fun Fact: Sophia and Bethany are both bilingual in English and Cantonese. Clementine and Winifred are the daughters of Quintin's oldest sister, Charissa and her husband, Jeremy. Fun Fact: They may be young, but Clem and Winny are world travelers!
Oliver, Luke, & Joshua
Oliver is the first and only nephew on Sam's side. He is the son of Sam's youngest brother, Jacob. Fun Fact: Oliver really loves Chewbacca and has a full Chewy costume at home. Luke is the son of Quintin's oldest brother, Matthew and his wife, Chelsea. Fun Fact: Luke loves the "Little Blue Truck" series! Joshua is the youngest child born to Quintin's brother Marcus and his wife, Tiffany. Fun Fact: We're not quite sure if Joshua will be walking in time for the wedding.
Officiant
Mitchell and Sam have been best friends since the very first day of high school. Fun Fact: Sam was honored to stand by Mitchell's side as his "Best Person" at his and Erica's wedding earlier this year.
Readers
Kevin and Nidra are Quintin's very best friends from college. He first met them in the Asian American Christian Fellowship at Cal Poly Pomona. Fun Fact: Kevin and Nidra's family have sort-of adopted Quintin and he considers their children, Elis and Atom, his bonus niece and nephew.
