Local Dining

Below are a few suggestions for dining in St. Pete -outside of what you can find along the beach.

Frog Pond

7390 Gulf Boulevard, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706

Breakfast/Brunch - This is our favorite casual breakfast/brunch spot near St. Pete Beach. They unfortunately don't take reservations, but tables usually turn relatively quickly! There are two locations - make sure you go to the one that's closest depending on where you're staying. (The Downtown St. Pete location is further from the Bellwether/beach.)

Cafe Soleil

5501 Gulf Boulevard, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706

Breakfast/lunch - Incredibly close to St. Pete Beach; a French-owned café (they bake their own bread - yum) Good for casual sit-down or take-out

Mangosteen

656 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Lunch/Dinner - Sushi restaurant in Downtown St. Pete

The Library

600 5th Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Brunch/lunch/dinner - Polished eatery offering New American bites, brunch staples & craft cocktails, plus outdoor seating.

Pia's Trattoria

3054 Beach Boulevard South, Gulfport, FL 33707

Lunch/dinner - Restaurant joining simple Tuscan-themed surroundings with straight-up Italian dishes.

Colony Grill

670 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

For our friends and family from CT - as you likely already know, FL isn't known for its pizza, but we do have Colony! (we have personally tested it and can confirm it tastes like home)
