If you’re planning to do Biltmore while you’re here we recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time, and if you're a AAA Member, stop by any AAA Travel Location to get discounted tickets! There’s so much to do and see while on the property, but we absolutely suggest taking a few minutes to walk up to the Diana Statue at the top of the hill for an incredible view of the property. Save some time to walk through the gardens! They’re where we got engaged and beautiful during the summer. The Biltmore Garden’s Railway exhibit will also be open that weekend!
The gardens near UNC Asheville’s campus are a great place to escape some of the hustle and bustle! Open during daylight hours, the 10-acre garden has trails to explore, lots of open greenspace for relaxing, and a subsidiary of the French Broad River (Reed Creek) flows through the gardens!
23 former industrial and historical buildings spread along a one mile stretch of the French Broad River house hundreds of working artists in gallery space that is open to the public! There are no official open hours, but take a look at the website to find out more!
