What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden party cocktail attire! Ladies, colorful, flowy, and fun floral dresses or jumpsuits are perfect! Gentlemen, dress pants with a fun colored button-down shirt; suit jackets and ties are optional but welcome. For comfort on the lawn, flats, wedges, or dressy sandals are recommended over heels. Please avoid jeans, hats, and sneakers. Refrain from wearing white, as it is reserved for the bride.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

If your invitation includes a guest, you’ll see their name (or “and guest”) listed with your RSVP. we are hoping for an intimate wedding filled with people we love!!!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 1 p.m. so we ask that guests arrive by 12:30 to allow time to park, find a seat, and settle in.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is plenty of space to park along the long driveway at the venue. We kindly ask that you avoid using the short driveway in front of the garage. If the driveway fills up, guests are welcome to park along the road. Please be careful not to block any driveways or mailboxes. For those staying at the Hampton Inn, we encourage carpooling to help ease parking and make the trip more fun!

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. We’re hoping for gorgeous Michigan summer weather, but we’ll have cover from the sun (or a sprinkle!) just in case. Please keep the weather in mind and dress accordingly!
