Meag and Sam met at WVU as random roommates freshman year. Five years of living together later Meag and Sam are still best friends. Meag now lives in Savannah, Georgia and is going to school to be an anesthesiologist's assistant. Meag had a front row view to the first few years of Nick and Sam's relationship, so who better to officiate the ceremony!

Hannah and Sam met Sam's freshman year of high school running track together. They were inseparable for all of high school. Hannah now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, and just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Mateo, that we (and everyone who meets him) are obsessed with.
Tori Garnes

Tori and Sam met in their sorority in college and Tori was Sam's Big! They knew they were meant to be best friends from the moment they met. Tori and her husband, Luke, have become Nick and Sam's chosen family. Tori is a therapist and lives in Morgantown, WV.
Desiree Stroud

Des and Sam were sorority sisters in college. Tori and Des were friends before they met Sam but they adopted her right into their friendship. Des just got married to her husband, Marcus, in Ireland and Sam and Nick travelled to be there for the ceremony! Des is a childcare worker in Pittsburgh, PA.
Katie McClung

Katie and Sam met while working at Olive Garden together, although their friendship did not truly begin until law school. Through the highs and lows of law school, their friendship blossomed. Katie is a public defender in Preston County in West Virginia. She is also getting married in July of 2025 to her fiance, Joe.
Tess Hardesty

Tess and Sam met in their second year of law school in a contracts drafting class. They became very close through their shared love of animals (especially dogs). Tess consistently keeps Sam sane through funny animals memes, stories of the shared insanity that is being a first-year associate at a law firm, and being a constant source of support. Tess is now living in Louisville, Kentucky and is working as an attorney.
Alex Glover

Alex and Sam met in their first year of law school. Much to Alex's dismay, they became close friends that year. Alex is living in New Martinsville, West Virginia, with his very cute, and impossibly fluffy dog, Zelda.
Andy Wilson

Andy and Sam unfortunately met when Andy was born and took away Sam's status as only child. Despite the fact that Andy is in one of the worst age groups, college-aged boy, Sam and him are very close. He is in his third year of college at the University of Cincinnati and is majoring in Environmental Science and Geography (dork).
Shamil Patel

Shamil and Nick met freshman year of college when Nick was still an engineering major. Shamil and Nick bonded over many a drink at Gene's throughout college. Even though Shamil moved to Cincinnati, about 5 hours away, they still get together as much as they can and love to go on any annual camping trip together.
Luke Veltri

Luke and Nick met through his wife, Tori, and Sam's friendship. Luke and Nick started a friendship in a very odd way, while Sam and Tori were attempting to help get a very drunk sorority sister home. They have become close friends and now watch football and golf (Nick tries to golf, Luke actually does) together. Luke is an animal care technician at WVU and lives in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Zach Hannah

Zach and Nick met through rock climbing at WVU. They soon started hanging out outside of climbing and have become close friends. Zach is a physical therapist and lives in Charleston, West Virginia.
Ryan Bodrog

Ryan and Nick met through an Adventure WV program. Weird enough, two years prior Sam had been Ryan's leader on his First Year Adventure trip at WVU. Ryan and Nick quickly bonded over climbing, outdoor activities, and a mutual friend group. Ryan is an engineer and is currently living in Schenectady, New York.

Ryan and Nick met through rock climbing. (Are you sensing a trend?) They became close friends through a mutual friend group and hanging out outside of climbing. Ryan is an engineer and lives in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Sam Grinstead

Sam and Nick met when Sam was Nick's TA in a Wildlife and Fisheries class. Once they found a mutual love for watching UFC fights, they began to hang out together (and split the pay per view). Sam now lives in Des Moines, Iowa, and is a bartender.
Logan Summerlin

Logan and Nick met that fateful day when Nick became an older brother. They have maintained a close relationship through a shared love of movies and hanging out with family. Logan is living in Fairmont, West Virginia, and works for the media team for an engineering firm.
Peighton Foster

We met Peighton through her lovely boyfriend Zach and we quickly realized we love her more than we ever loved Zach. She is currently a Registered Dietician in Charleston, West Virginia. She has been the most encouraging friend and has graciously volunteered to be one of the first people to greet everyone on our big day.
Madelyn Lalama

Similar to Peighton, Ryan brought Madelyn into our lives and we loved her instantly. She is currently a student at the WVU School of Dentistry and will be keeping all of our smiles nice and bright in the next few years. She will also be welcoming everyone that arrives on the wedding day.
