Travel Note
⚠️✨ Attention, Please Read ✨ The Portland Rose Festival Starlight Parade will be happening the same night as our wedding (5/30/26) from 8–10 pm! By the time our cruise returns to the Salmon Springs Dock, the parade will probably have passed, but we may catch sightings of the celebration, and maybe even a few floats if we’re lucky! If you’re heading home afterward, be aware that downtown roads may be busy or partially closed. Please check the parade website for route and traffic information. If you’re keeping the celebration going, follow us as we walk through the parade to Punch Bowl Social. The address is listed on our Schedule page. You’re welcome to try Uber or rent an electric scooter/bike, but expect some delays due to parade traffic. The Rose Festival CityFair will also be happening all weekend at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, very close to the Portland Spirit and many downtown hotels. Please plan for extra traffic, parking limitations, and potential delays if you’re traveling downtown during the weekend. Note: The parade's 2026 website has not been posted yet, but the 2025 version is linked for more parade details.

Flight
20 minute drive and 40 minutes by MAX train from downtown, PDX is the main airport in the Portland area.
Train
For guests flying into Portland International Airport (PDX), the MAX Light Rail is an easy and convenient way to reach downtown Portland. Take the Red Line from the airport to Morrison/SW 3rd St. station, which 1 Block away from AC Hotel and 8 blocks away from the Marriott The ride takes approximately 35–40 minutes. Trains run frequently throughout the day, making it an easy way to get downtown without renting a car.
Train
Guests staying at our suggested downtown hotels — Hyatt House, AC Hotel, or Portland Marriott — can easily reach both Portland Indoor Soccer and Wonderlove using the Portland Streetcar. Portland Indoor Soccer: Take the B Streetcar lines from downtown stations toward the east side. Check schedules ahead of time for the most accurate departure times. Wonderlove: From Portland Indoor Soccer, the food cart pod is a short walk away, about 5 minutes on foot. The Friday night welcome party will run from 7:00–11:00 PM, with drinks and food available for purchase.
