What kind of weather should I expect?

Answer

Hot!!! It's mediterranean climate, peak summer. Expect sunny days and high 80's-90's. Nights do tend to cool off with a light and enjoyable breeze on the coast, so bring a light jacket or shawl if you tend to run cold.

How much of the wedding is outdoors vs indoors?

Answer

Much of the ceremony and dinner will take place outdoors. There will be climate-controlled rooms onsite in case you need to cool off. Make sure to enjoy a stroll through the olive grove while you're there!

What's the best way to get around while in Croatia?

Answer

Renting a car and driving around Croatia is easy and cost-effective. Other options include taxis, local buses, or pre-arranged shuttles. For the islands, ferries are a great option both with and without a car. For Saturday, the wedding day, we will be providing transportation between Biograd na Moru and Polača for those staying nearby. The venue has parking on-site. We will be arranging deals with local taxi and shuttle companies and will put those contact details in this section ASAP.

Where should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport will be Zadar, about 25 minutes away. You could also fly into Split (approx 1 hour away) and drive or take a bus. If you'd like to fly in and travel around on your way to Polača, you can fly into Zagreb (approx 3 hours away) or Dubrovnik (approx 4 hours away).

Are kids invited?

Answer

We'd like it to be adults only, except for family. That said, we know it's a far travel and care is very complicated to manage. Don't let that hold you back, please reach out to us if you're a parent and would like to discuss it further!
