Question

What is the Full Address of the Venue for both nights?

Answer

Dumbleton Mill House Dumbleton Evesham WR11 7TR If you're coming by car/taxi, follow the signs for the car entrance (the other entrance will be for the bus). Note that google maps will cheekily try to take you to a neighbors place called Cotton Farm. We'll have signs up to direct you back the right way if that happens.

Question

What's the best way to get to and from the venue on both nights?

Answer

We have a bus booked to and from the Lygon Arms in Broadway on both the Friday and Saturday, as this is a central spot close to the venue. See the Schedule on the website for exact timings. Bus capacity on the Friday is 56 & on the Saturday it's 74, so some people will need to book taxis. See some suggested companies below: Emerald Taxis Evesham - +44 1386 761705 Broadway Taxis - +44 7407 707044 Ace Taxis & Private Hire - +44 1386 442228 1st Call Taxis Evesham - +44 7766 218218

Question

What's the recommended attire for each night?

Answer

Friday - Smart Casual (Example for Men - Shirt, trousers, sports coat, or no sports coat. Example for Women - summery dresses, pant suits, rompers, chunky heels recommended but we will have some heel stoppers) Men on Saturday - Dressy Casual (Examples for Men - Suit without a tie, kilt, sports coat. Examples for Women - same as Friday, but feel free to dress up a bit more if the mood takes you)

Question

What are our options to get to the cotswolds from Heathrow/Gatwick Airport or Central London?

Answer

Car - Fastest option & gives you flexibility to get around the Cotswolds - it's just under 2 hours from Heathrow, and more like 2 and a half from Gatwick. Train - If you land at the airport and would rather not drive, you can get the train/underground into London and then take a train from there. It's a longer trip - 45-60mins into London from either airport and then a 2 hour train from Paddington Station to Evesham (Great Western Railways), followed by a taxi to wherever you're staying). For all travel (but especially trains) there is a risk of disruption this summer due to union strikes. We'll try to keep you updated closer to the time, but check ahead to see if you should expect any delays.

Question

Anything else we should know about traveling to the UK right now?

Answer

Airports in both the USA and the UK are struggling with significant delays & cancelled flights right now due to staff shortages. The only thing we can recommend is to arrive at the airport earlier than you usually would and pack your essentials in a carry-on-case. For those traveling from the USA, note that you no longer need a negative COVID test to get back into the US.
