Beautiful city park with views of downtown Portland and Mount Hood. There's plenty to do around the park with there being the Oregon Zoo, Portland Japanese Garden, and International Rose Test Garden.
This is an outdoor market open every Saturday. It is the largest continuously operated arts and crafts outdoor market in the United States, so there are tons of vendors. It's a great place to stroll, shop, and people watch while in town!
About a 30 minute drive from Portland, this waterfall is a must see if you are new to the area. Inside the Columbia River Gorge, the waterfall is visible from a parking lot right off the highway. You can take photos around the base of the falls, or do various hikes around the area for different viewpoints.
