We're Getting Married

Sam and Matt met on Match.com. Sam searched all of Match and found out there was only 1 person she was interested in talking to. She paid for a 1 month subscription and messaged him first! Matt called Sam on the phone and his impressions won her over. They agreed to meet at the Madiran Wine Bar in East Setauket of Long Island 2 weeks later. In typical Sam fashion, you know she was 30 minutes late. However, Matt waited patiently hoping she didn't stand him up. They talked the night away over some wine and cheese as snow fell from the sky with lightning as the backdrop. After the second date, Matt knew she was the one.

2 years after the first date, Sam and Matt went back to the Madiran Wine Bar. This became their yearly tradition and they sat at the same table where they first met. Matt asked Sam to look through the menu to pick out a wine to drink (which was weird because they always got the same wine from their first date). Sam flipped through the menu and saw it was a personalized menu written by Matt along with pictures from the past 2 years together. Matt then got down on one knee and asked Sam to marry him. The owner of the restaurant videoed the proposal while the other table in the restaurant did a great job at keeping the secret! After Sam said yes, Matt then surprised Sam with a special dinner with Sam & Matt's parents. The rest is history! We are looking forward to finally being able to celebrate with everyone!
