Getting to the Fir Hll
Fir Hill is located just outside Newquay in Colan, so the easiest way to reach it is by taxi from the train station/airpiort. Taxis are readily available at the train station, airport and in town. Train
Via London
Taking the train is a scenic and relaxed way to travel down to Cornwall. Trains run from London Paddington to Newquay, with a journey time of around 5 to 5.5 hours. Alternatively, there are trains that go to Bodmin Parkway and to Quintrell Downs which are also not far by taxi from the venue. Depending on the schedules, this often is easier and faster. There is usually one direct service each day, along with other options that involve a change, typically at Par. Once you arrive at Newquay Station, which is right in the town centre, you can take a short taxi to Fir Hill.
Flight

For the quickest option, you can fly into Newquay Cornwall Airport. Flights from London take just over an hour, and the airport is approximately 5 miles from Newquay, making it around a 15 minute taxi ride to Fir Hill.
Rental Car
Via London
Driving is a great option if you would like flexibility during your stay. The journey typically takes around 4.5 to 5 hours, depending on traffic, and follows the M4 and A30 into Cornwall. It is a straightforward route and a particularly beautiful drive once you reach the coast.

For a more budget friendly option, coaches run from London Victoria to Newquay. These journeys take around 7 to 7.5 hours, but are often the most economical way to travel.

Newquay town and the surrounding coast has plenty of hotels as well as B&Bs and holiday lets. That said, it is very busy in the summer and therefore many places are quick to book up. Make sure you reserve your accommodation as soon as possible to make sure you are able to find something near and in budget.
