What's the weather like in November?

Answer

Honestly, we're not sure... that pretty much sums up Texas weather. Usually, it's between 60°-85° during the day, but it's worth keeping an eye on the weather the week of the wedding. We're hoping for mid 70s during the day and 50s at night. We do recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket for the evenings!

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

The attire for the day will be semi-formal, so feel free to explore deep fall colors! We’d love to see the ladies in floor-length, jewel tone hues such as deep navy, rich plum, vibrant teal, magenta, and dark evergreen. A suit or tux for men is great! Please note: the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors on grass, so we recommend planning footwear accordingly.

Where will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place at Hotel Ella. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors! P.S. We will be having an after party in the main mansion, so make sure to bring a pair of comfortable shoes!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony, meaning no phones or cameras during the ceremony. Our photographer will capture everything and we encourage photos during the reception!

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration.

Should we rent a car?

Answer

Hotel Ella is about 20 min. from the airport, so we suggest uber/lyft! Overnight parking at the hotel is $50 a night, so if you feel comfortable then taking a car is a more economical option! Also, since we are downtown, ubers/lyft/waymos come super fast!
