What a wild ride it’s been! We met in the early fall of 2016, when what Sam thought would be a quick 20-minute meetup somehow turned into hours of easy conversation, nonstop laughter, and Louie throwing Odin’s ball until his arm nearly fell off. Louie was a brand-new dad to sweet Liam then, so we took things slow—but there was no denying how naturally we fell for each other, between mountain adventures, endless bad jokes, and all the little moments where love quietly settled in. When Sam met Liam, she fell in love with him instantly, too! In 2023, little Oliver arrived and filled our home with even more joy (and far less sleep). On the day he was due, Louie surprised Sam with a beautiful ring made just for her from a family heirloom. It didn’t fit her VERY swollen finger, but she still said YES and that week they were submerged in the wildest wave of love. Over the past nine years, we’ve shared laughter, growth, and plenty more laughter—weathering life’s challenges and celebrating its sweetest moments side-by-side. Our path hasn’t followed the “traditional” timeline, but we wouldn’t change a single thing. We love our beautiful blended family and the wonderful winding road that brought us here. As 2026 approaches—marking a decade of love, friendship, and building a life together—we can’t wait to finally celebrate this joyful, long-awaited day with all of you.
