Erin Richards

Maid of Honor

The first best friend I ever had, and the one that is most important to me. My Big Sis, my Maid of Honor! It's finally my turn!! I call Erin "Little" because I have been taller than her for a couple decades now... pronounced "laaaaaddle." Erin has always been my biggest cheerleader and a constant support system, even when I used to steal clothes from her closet. (I miss that bottle cap belt DEARLY). There is no one else on this planet that I'd rather share my childhood with. Erin is an incredible mom to Gray (4 in April) and Noah (2 in July). She is also wife to groomsman, Bill Richards. Erin has taught me so much just by being herself. I am so lucky to have a sister like her!

Tony Hacker

Best Man

What can I say about Tony that hasn't already been said about the statue of David? I met Tony my freshman year of high school, and we have been mischief managers ever since. I have Tony and his wonderful wife Yael (bridal party) to thank for introducing Lindsay and myself; and I mean...I'm eternally grateful and all that jazz but guys...what took you so long???

Courtney White

Bridesmaid

Beanpole! My favorite cousin and best little sister, Courtney is one of my favorite people in the world. Don't ask me why I call her beanpole, because I have no idea. Courtney has one of the biggest hearts - she truly lights up a room. She is the purest combination of Long Island realness and sweet Southern Charm. Court, Erin, and I share so many memories from our summers at Sandbridge. If you ask us to perform a ~routine~ at the wedding... we most likely will. And it might be about bees. Courtney currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her parents, my aunt and uncle, Sam and Jayne, are moving to Richmond this summer. We are so excited for them to be closer! Now we just have to figure out how to get Court to Richmond.. ;)

Mustafa Wakilpoor

Groomsman

Fate forged a friendship of unfathomable POWER when Mustafa and I were both sent to James Madison University. We were acquaintances at first through my roommate, but in a matter of weeks I was hanging out with Mustafa more than he who had introduced us was! This fella right here is truly a missing chunk from the meteorite of my soul. A giddy goon whose perseverance, honesty, humility, body mass, and fart jokes resonate in my soul to this very day.

Erica Marchenko

Bridesmaid

Erica Renee! We met in high school and have been best friends since. I was Maid of Honor for her wedding and she has more than returned the favor for mine. If you want to laugh until your tummy hurts, go find her at the wedding. Erica and I have many memories of doing just that in the multiple homes we have shared together - whether it was deep cleaning the house, trying (and failing) to do yoga in the living room, or trying to get rid of a jean couch (jouch) - we can laugh at almost nothing. Erica and her husband, Lee, have a very precious doggo-daughter, Poppy. Bunky and Poppy are friends - mostly because she leaves out all of her chew bones when we come to visit.

Sean Wright

Groomsman

Oooohhhhh Seany BOY! The pipes...are not callin' but we can pretend they are. Sean and I met in high school through aforementioned bestmin Tony Hacker. We became swift friends as our nights of debuachery slowly transmuted from 4loko fervor into gentlemanly chess games, worldly musings of media, and the ever elusive enigma that is writing a fantasy novel. I wouldn't be here today without you buddy!

Sara "Seggy" Garrett

Bridesmaid

Seggy! We met shortly before heading off to college at VCU. After only having known each other for a little under a year, we decided to live together in the dorms. BEST. DECISION. EVER. We have been besties and sisters since. Seggy and her husband, Taylor Krug, have been together for 16 years. Their relationship has always been my favorite, second only to my parents'! Taylor and Sam have become close buds, which is lucky for me and Segg! Taylor is also a groomsman - keep an eye out for this couple on the dance floor!

Taylor Krug

Groomsman

When one googles "Renaissance Man", only photos of Taylor are found. That's right folks, if it has gears or grows in the ground Mr. Krug can fix and/or cultivate it. I met Taylor through Lindsay, and among the litany of new friendly faces our relationship has yielded...Taylor has been the most outstanding. We swiftly discovered a shared passion for art, science, culture, the desert planet of Arrakkis, Aqua Teen Hunger Force quotes, borderline offensive comedy, and he also has the patience to play anime card games with me. What a guy!

Amanda Rosenthal

Bridesmaid

Manderz! We met in Kindergarten at Shady Grove Elementary. I'm pretty sure we met on the kickball field, probably playing better than most of the boys. My little adventurer, Amanda went to college in New York. She lived there for 10 years, and is now working and living in Los Angeles. She is much cooler than me, and I always tell her she is the smartest person I know. She's been my best friend the longest and I cannot imagine my life without her in it!! We have been through a lot together - no one knows me quite like you do! Near, far, wherever you are, you'll always be my rock. (Anyone catch that Celine Dion reference?).

Gabe Kelley

Groomsman

Is he the only person who can keep pace with me in discussing the subtleties of 'Interstellar' for more than an hour at a time? Yes. But that's not all! Gabe is also one of the kindest, most genuine, and without a doubt the smartest person I will ever know or live with (aside from my beautiful bride obviously). I recant fondly the tales of our Friday night post-grad ritual of ordering a Chanello's BIG BOY pizza and having to slightly angle the box to fit into our apartment. Our sweet, rat-filled apartment...and don't forget the banana slugs that crawled out of the oven range whenever it rained! I wouldn't be the same without you pal.

Liv Novicki

Bridesmaid

Liv! I met Liv at a party that she had thrown at her parents house in high school (Sorry Sue and Mark). Amanda, Casey, and I were invited by some boys (Sorry Susan and Kerry) and after much debate, decided to go. It was awkward at first, showing up to someone's home whom you'd never met before. But luckily my weirdness shown brightly enough that Liv and all her friends came to learn we weren't a threat, and were actually kindred spirits. Since then, there has never been a time that I couldn't be my true, goofy self around Liv, Erica, and Taylor. I am forever grateful for that! Liv and her husband Josh have a precious baby boy named Rocco.

Bill Richards

Groomsman

BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! I met this awesome guy pretty soon after moving to Richmond and asking Lindsay to be my gal. Thanks for always making me feel welcome at Kelley/Richards family gatherings. Bill is my future Brother-In-Law, and is married to the one, the only, Erin Richards (Maid of Honor). I can't wait to teach your kids the names and personality quirks of every single Autobot, Decepticon, and Pokemon (I know a guy with A LOT of cards....it's me).

Alicia Rydel

Bridesmaid

I met Leesher freshman year of college. We spent most of our time painting in our dorms and rewatching Garden State over and over again. She was a true blue friend then, and even moreso now. My Scorpio sister, most favorite plus-one, the girl who, when I call with a totally random invite - says "YUP, when are you picking me up?" I can always count on her. Alicia and I spent two weeks travelling around Greece together - and she still likes me! YAY! My favorite travel buddy and one of my best friends.

Randy Spain

Groomsman

Randy and his brother Travis are my RADICAL older cousins. Although I did surpass you both height wise in middle school, I have yet to achieve your level of constant awesomeness (and your level of intelligence...I should technically call you Dr Spain but...yeah right dude!) When Randy isn't wrangling his kids (Max, Mallory, Malena, Marshall - yes they are the M&M's!) or impressing his wonderful wife Kate with feats of strength - you can catch him SHREDDIN' his 6 string.

Yael Cantor

Bridesmaid

Yael and I met at my favorite bar in college - Cous Cous. We immediately became friends. Her laughter is contagious and she sees the best in everyone. We bonded over our sense of humor and the fact that we both have sisters. She started to date Tony Hacker, who I knew from high school. They have since gotten married! Many years later, Yael introduced me to Tony's best friend, Sam!!!! The rest is history, and we are so grateful for Tony and Yael being in our lives.. and in our wedding!

Travis Spain

Groomsman

Travis and his brother Randy are my older cousins; and as a spindly only-child adolescent....boooooy did I need some older bro energy to straighten me out. Travis also holds the legendary status of taking me to see both Anchorman and The Matrix: Reloaded as I still was too young to drive. Travis is betrothed to his lovely wife Anita; and they have a bright and powerful black-belt son named Lucas. Thanks for always having my back and teaching me the values of VOLTRON!

Chelsea Wolf

Bridesmaid

Chelly! When I first met Chelsea, I knew we were going to be fast friends. She has such a warm and loving energy. We have stayed up many nights all throughout our twenties sharing secrets and talking about silly boy issues. I'm so happy we are still in each other's lives to now be a part of each other's weddings. Nowadays, we stay up late talking about future baby names. My, how far we've come!
