The Chinese Wedding Tea Ceremony is one of the most significant parts of a traditional Chinese wedding. It is a way for the couple to show gratitude and respect to their elders, while also receiving blessings for their future life together. During the ceremony, the bride and groom kneel before their parents and serve them tea, which symbolises their deep respect and appreciation. In return, the couple often receives gifts or words of wisdom. The tea used in the wedding ceremony is carefully chosen, often featuring red dates and lotus seeds, which symbolise fertility and a harmonious marriage. This intimate ritual is a beautiful blend of tradition, love, and respect, connecting families and creating lasting memories. P.S. This ceremony is an event particularly with my 98-year old grandmother in mind. Stay for lunch and thereafter as long as you like. Drinks provided.

It's a pool party, don't stress about it.
We plan to unwind and relax after all the festivities. We'll have sangria, order in and just lounge by the pool. Anyone traveling out of KL that day is also welcome to use our house as a pit-stop before the airport (it's on the way!).
