Vaccinations and boosters are required. Please email a copy of your vaccination/booster card to thirdshotsthecharm@gmail.com. Additionally, in order to get into the National Press Club, you will be required to show proof of vaccination (a picture of your card is fine) and your ID. We are also asking all guests to get a COVID PCR test the week of the wedding. If you are able, a day of rapid antigen test would also be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.
We love kids (we spend every day with them!), but we kindly ask you to leave yours at home so that you can fully enjoy celebrating with us!
Although we wish we could accommodate all plus-ones, please refer to the names listed on your invitation.
Parking is very limited around the church and around District Winery, though paid parking is available. But, we recommend that you Uber/Lyft and/or take the provided transportation so that you can fully enjoy the celebrations and libations!
There are so many great neighborhoods to explore. We like to walk around Adams Morgan and Dupont Circle where we live. Georgetown (including the waterfront) is beautiful, and Union Market is very fun and lively. If you're staying in Navy Yard, check out the Wharf or Capitol Hill nearby. Downtown has some cool monuments and memorials (especially fun to tour at night; World War II and FDR are our favorites), plus lots of free museums.
Our favorite restaurants: Anywhere by José Andrés (he's an amazing human), particularly Zaytinya. If you're staying in Navy Yard, go to Agua 301 or Atlas for their happy hours (Atlas has delicious pizza from Andy's Pizza). Our favorite breweries: 3 Stars, Atlas, Right Proper. If you're staying in Navy Yard, Bluejacket is also worth checking out.
