We met in high school, but only as friends. Sam was a nice, wholesome guy and Kaylee was a a little weird but kind. We liked each other, but life took us separate directions. When Sam found his way back to Bloomington, he reached out to Kaylee to see if she wanted to climb. She said, "Of course", excited to rekindle a friendship. Though becoming belay partners, adventure buddies, best friends and everything in between... they realized they meant a lot to each other. Eventually, we caught feelings and realized that our bond was more akin to being soulmates. (Which neither of us really believed in, because that's just a fairy tale right?!) Now, we get marry our best friend, and we wouldn't want it any other way.
