Foster Falls
(30 mins) Foster Falls is major rock climbing destination in the south It attracts climbers from all over the world. You can picnic, easy quick walk to the large waterfall overlook, hike down into the valley and watch the climbers, or swim in the large waterfall pool.
Sequatchie River
(15 mins) The Sequatchie is a very peaceful river, and there is a company in Whitwell that will rent them out, search: “Willis Farm Kayak and Canoe Rental.”
Ketner’s Mill
(15 mins away) Ketner’s Mill is a beautiful property along the Sequatchie River, with an historic mill that dates back to the 1800’s. Each October they hold a fair with over 150 artisans and food vendors, going on 41 years.
Savage Gulf State Park
30 mins) A 15,590-acre scenic wilderness area featuring sandstone cliffs, waterfalls & spring wildflowers.
