We're Getting Married!

Kate & Sam met as teenagers while attending Nipmuc Regional Middle and High School and growing up in the little town of Mendon. Good friends throughout High School they bonded over video games, bad horror movies, and anime. Despite having a crush on one another, these high school sweethearts kept missing each other until the last few months of Senior year when they finally got together during a Tremors Movie Marathon. Although Kate was going to Bryn Mawr College in the Fall of 2007, they continued to date throughout Kate’s time in Pennsylvania. After five years of all too short visits back and forth between Mendon and Philadelphia, Kate graduated Bryn Mawr and headed out to the West Coast. With the help of close high school friends, Sam drove 3,000 miles to begin their life together in Southern California. In SoCal, they have continued to support and celebrate each other. Kate, the English-major with a passion for the zombie apocalypse, followed her father’s footsteps and began to work at Raytheon while Sam found an appreciation for craft beer and learned the art of craft brewing. In their free time, they still enjoy bad horror movies, video games, and the company of their fur-child, Jeff Goldblum the cat.
