Kaetlyn and Sam met in Chicago on their first day at EY, June 5th 2019. Kaetlyn lived in Chicago, and Sam lived in Nashville at that time. After meeting again at another round of training in November 2019 in the beautiful St. Charles, IL, Kaetlyn told her friends and family about a cute coworker, and Sam made the move to visit Kaetlyn in Chicago during January 2020. We kept in touch messaging and Facetiming over the next few months, until Kaetlyn needed a wedding date in North Carolina in December 2020. From there, we knew we could not spend more than a couple of weeks apart at a time. Eventually, working from home allowed us to spend more and more time together in both Chicago and Nashville. The visits to Chicago, Nashville, and Birmingham, and vacations to Arizona and Florida became more and more frequent until Sam moved to Chicago in July 2022. We loved continuing to build our future living in the same city for the first time - the Cubs games, Coopershawk family dinners, St. Paddy's day celebrations, first and second annual Football Parties, and taking off and landing together at O'Hare will always be some of our favourite memories. Our first home on Belden Ave welcomed so many local and long distance friends and family, and we frequently reminisce on our time there. After two years together in Chicago, we moved to London in July 2024. While living in London, we have met new friends from all over the world, embraced the pub culture and new vocabulary, hosted our third and fourth annual Football Parties, and travelled much of Europe and Africa. Our relationship is built on travel and adventure and we look forward to celebrating our marriage with our friends and family in beautiful Dubrovnik, Croatia!
