We met in Fall 2014 in our freshman year dorm at The University of South Carolina. Sam lived on the 4th floor of Columbia Hall, while John lived on the 11th down the hall from two of Sam's sorority sisters and now bridesmaids (thanks Ally and Libby)! We were introduced through our mutual friends and formed a great friendship, which then blossomed into a relationship by our senior year. The rest is history!

We had a lovely weekend planned in Charleston celebrating Easter with both of our families. John surprised Sam with a proposal on the dock on Daniel Island prior to dinner one night!
