The two of us met in 2019 when Sam took a leap of faith and moved to Upstate New York to live with her sister, Amanda. Sam met Joel for the first time at a bonfire the very first night of her arrival into the area. Funny enough, they barely talked the whole night and the only sparks that were flying were from the fire. Luckily, things started to progress when Sam got a job with Amanda at Randall's where Joel also happened to work. Several weeks passed with small talk and getting to know each other until a friendship started to develop. The relationship really kicked off with many, many nights spent cosmic bowling on fridays and saturdays. Fast forward just one month later, the natural chemistry continued to grow and Sam and Joel spent their first weekend in the Adirondacks together. It was Sam's first summer in New York and getting into a relationship was definitely not on her agenda, but the best things happen when you are least expecting them. That summer was spent with some of our best memories, going to concerts at CMAC, trips to the adirondacks, bowling (of course), camping, beer making, golfing, breweries, and so much more. It was incredibly hard to deny what we both knew to be true so after 4 and a half years, here we are getting married, and embarking on what is undeniably one of our best adventures yet!
