Wedding Party

Meet the very cool people that you'll be tearing it up on the dance floor with. Sam wrote too much and she is aware of it!

Jess Fangman

Maid of Honor

No one can make me barrel over in laughter quite like Jess, particularly when she tripped over absolutely nothing at the Danberry Dollar Cinema and her large popcorn went FLYING into oblivion and the kind teenager working the snack stand goes, “Don’t worry, it happens all the time.” (It doesn't). Jess has lived and traveled all over the U.S. and currently hails in Denver, CO but she’ll always be my Skyline Chili-loving, bug-shirt wearing big sister who threw a quintessential high school party at our house that our mom very notoriously busted. Jess and I can movie quote you under a table and will if provoked. Our inside jokes run through my veins, and she's the best big sis ever!

Sean Meagher

Best Man

Sean and I first met in freshman year of high school and quickly became friends. Whether parodying the Bee Gees, playing Sega Jeopardy, or watching Guy Fieri at 2 AM, Sean can always make me laugh. Over the last 16 years we've enjoyed hanging out together so much we’ve even worked together at 4 different jobs. I’m thrilled to have him stand beside me on this momentous day.

Sarah Millikin

Bridesmaid

Meet the other half of my brain and personality, Sarah Millikin. Our codependency issues have been deeply rooted since our time living together at Morehead State. We often refer to each other in conversations with others as you would with your husband or wife, “Sarah RAVES about the tofu pad thai at Green Papaya.” She did a DJ set at our college bar the night Prince died, and everyone cried big fat tears when she played Purple Rain. She knows everything there is to know about eyes, Will Smith’s career, Chicago sports, and being a best friend to my neurotic self.

Tom Shannon

Groomsman

a.k.a. Tommi Salami, the eldest of the Shannon brothers. Tom has always been a big influence on me, especially in introducing me to the wonderful world of heavy metal music. Tom continues to be someone I look up to, and I’m proud to have him as both a brother and groomsman.

Annie Haskins

Bridesmaid

This pop culture queen and I found one another in the depths of our high school theater department, wild-eyed and ready to chug Red Bull slushies at the exclusive T.G.I. Friday’s cast wrap party. We had both just finished Twilight: New Moon and were eager to pledge our allegiance to Team Edward to anyone who would listen. We did eventually grow up, and attended many a concert together - including 4th row at Lizzo, which remains my most spiritual experience to date. We campaign for 2AM Sykline just about every Saturday in the summer, karaoke our hearts out to Earl Had to Die, and leave EVERYTHING out on the Homemaker’s dance floor.

Rob Shannon

Groomsman

a.k.a. Bizzle, next in line of the Shannon brothers. Rob and I have worked at 4 restaurants together, where he taught me almost everything I know how to do in a kitchen. I also have his extensive movie collection to thank for my appreciation of cheesy 80’s action. He’s always been not only a great brother, but a great friend.

Emma Maue

Bridesmaid

A true ride or die friend, Emma and I have been there for each other for all of our simultaneous worst and best moments – dressing as Harry and Hedwig for the midnight movie premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows falls under both categories if you ask me. She’s been by my side from adolescence to adulthood, and I can’t imagine my life without her rare form of wit and ability to know exactly what I mean when I squeeze her arm under a table. I’m thankful to have someone who knows me fully and gives me the confidence to dye my hair red.

Jimmy Zemanek

Groomsman

Jimmy and I have been friends since kindergarten. Growing up, there was hardly a weekend where we didn’t hang out (or weekday, let’s be real). Whether it was watching Dragonball Z or gaming, we spent so much time together he is widely referred to as the honorary fourth Shannon brother.

Shelby Stevlingson

Bridesmaid

Shelby is like the human embodiment of all of the love languages. She has showed up to our house on numerous occasions with tea towels with cats on them, a framed photo of the Sex & the City cast, tie-dye socks, a hand-sewn book mark and cards just because she thought of me when she saw them. I don’t deserve her. Shelby and I became friends in 7th grade, and I wrote in my journal that I couldn’t believe I was going to U.S.S. Nightmare with one of the most popular girls in school. She taught me how to serve a volleyball, I taught her how to chop an onion. I'm so excited to have this hype woman by my side.

Larry Uebel

Groomsman

I first met Larry in 6th grade. We’ve spent many nights playing poker, Risk, Super Smash Brothers, and watching movies. I aspire to be as wise and as kind as Larry, and am honored that he’s one of my groomsmen.

Macy Kootz

Bridesmaid

Macy is a soul sister of the truest kind. She and I met in an Intro to Film class at Morehead State and both had very obvious friend-crushes on each other. We made up questions about homework just so we could talk outside of class, which quickly turned into hanging out everyday. We share a deep, mutual love of School of Rock, Pasquale’s Cheese Fries, and Mark Wahlberg’s Boston accent in The Departed. She’s a licensed therapist and an all-around incredible listener/person, which makes her my go-to gal for all matters of the heart and mind.

Matt Walsh

Groomsman

The first time I met Matt was at a high-school party where I ridiculed him for his fitted trucker hat. Little did I know then what good friends we would become. He’s the only man I’d enjoy a shower PB&J or share a plate of dessert nachos with.

Sarah Fangman

Bridesmaid

Sarah is both my cousin and an amazing friend. We have made up dances, accidentally ran away from home, played a million rounds of tag at the FOP hall, and watched Cat & the Hat more times than I can count. I love that our dinners turn into drinks and we are always late for work the next day. Her parents throws the most legendary Christmas Eve parties equipped with lots of Usher music and hours spent in the Thankful Circle. I’m so lucky to have family that is truly so fun, and a cousin to share the moments with.

Seth Fangman

Groomsman

The brother of the bride and a truly terrific guy, I saw Seth as a brother even before Sam and I were engaged. We’ve bonded over our appreciation for craft beer and the camaraderie shared by those who’ve worked in food service.

Morgan Peterman

Bridesmaid

Morgan and I have been pals since high school, and if I ever end up in jail, she is 100% going to be my one phone call. One time in college, she somehow got me into a sold out concert when I didn’t have a ticket, and to this day I’m not quite sure how she did it. She’s so genuine and kind, and the world’s most phenomenal host – we’re talking homemade ornaments at the Christmas party and nameplates for the Friendsgiving table. But don’t let her incredibly put together nature fool you, I have seen this woman eat spaghetti with her bare hands!

Andrew Prentovic

Groomsman

Andrew and I became friends while working at the SkyGalley. Since then, we’ve also been roommates, regulars at The Pilot, and enjoyed some wonderful food together on Monday lunch adventures. I asked Andrew to be there when Sam and I got engaged, and I’m delighted he’s here for our wedding.
