Seems like I have known Sam forever. We met at my family owned paintball buiness. Sam worked every weekend. I worked whenever...As far back as I can remember, we have flirted; but both of us were too shy to really connect...Sam has supported me when I needed him, listening and hearing me when I truly needed a friend. I was struggling with ending a horrible, damaged relationship which involved my kids. After moving out and starting to get my life in order, Sam and I finally connected! Fast forward...I have watched him interact with my boys, bringing strength, structure, support, and love into our home..even with all of the crazy from the last couple years together..he has been amazing! I fell in love with his kindness. Then, I fell head over heels as I watched him play and laugh with our boys. He has taken on the role of Daddy when he didnt have too. Now we have a beautiful baby girl, how could I not just fall more in love when I see them together! Sam is an amazing man plain and simple! A man I can NOT wait to call my husband❤ ❤Jessica
Sam completely surprised me when he proposed! Okay, let's start from the beginning....It was Christmas Day and our first Christmas together. The boys woke up, then woke us. We excitedly ran downstairs to see if Santa came. Carter and Silas opened their stockings. While I made breakfast, the boys, (including Sam)opened and played with everything! We ate breakfast and got ready to head out to the family Christmas.....but before we could go, we needed to stop by our soon-to-be together home. Sam was excited, we received our cable box. He was almost to giddy about it and wanted us to go see it. So...we hurried and got ready, filed into the van and went to the house. Rewind a little bit....the house is in the middle of being remodeled... We walk in, there were tools all over...but, in the middle of the room was a large wooden box, with the cable box on top. Sam asked me open it while he brought in his new tools he had gotten for Christmas.....WAH LA....there was a letter, he had handwritten. I remember saying..what is this?? He told me to read it... look over there. So I did. As I read, I could hear him ruffling the paper that were under his feet..then messed with his new drill..giggles.... I finish reading his letter in happy tears. I turned around to find him on his knee, with a ring in hand. Will you marry me....Of course, I could not help but say absolutely, yes!!!! He told me he couldn't think of a better place to ask me to marry him, then the place where we were going to start out lifes together. Soooo, there ya go, our magnificent proposal.😍
