It all started when Jessica got the job at Wegmans back in 2015. She remembers being led to a group of kids (we were all babies!) standing behind the Chef's case where she was to meet Sam for the first time. Sam was responsible for training Jessica and showing her the ropes! Jessica was very eager to talk and meet new people while Sam instead was very shy and quiet with Jessica, although very loud (and messy) with the others. Every day they worked part time as closers together and at the end of the night, Sam walked the 10 minutes home and Jessica drove the long 20 minutes to Buffalo's west side. And every day Jessica felt bad for Sam and would offer him a ride home, with a quick "It's okay, I'm good" in response from him. It was only after some time, maybe about 6 months, that Sam started opening up and joking with Jessica. They found they shared the same wacky, sometimes dark sense of humor and had an absolute love for all things spooky and horrifying, which was so exciting! They also would bond every day in their shared love for geocaching, transversing all over Lancaster tracking down coordinates to hidden treasures in nearby parks and parking lots. Eventually, Sam began saying yes to rides, and their adventures began going outside of just Lancaster. The rest is history!
