Cafe Dolce

Cafe Dolce is our favorite breakfast spot and always a treat. We love bringing Mable on a nice day to sit outside while enjoying our pastries and coffee. Bonus: it’s walking distance from The Watershed.

Calf Pasture Beach

Calf Pasture Beach

Calf Pasture Beach Road, Norwalk, CT 06851

A great way to take in The Long Island Sound and see more of why we love Norwalk. Enjoy one of the walking loops next to the beach and definitely make your way to the pier.

The Maritime Aquarium

The Maritime Aquarium

10 North Water Street, Norwalk, CT 06854
, (203) 852-0700

A Norwalk staple that is fun for the whole fam! They have 3 “touch tanks” where you can feel the sharks, jellyfish and stingrays. The aquarium is located in the waterfront area of SoNo (South Norwalk). In this vibrant neighborhood, you’ll find lots of shops, restaurants and a trail along the Long Island Sound.

Stew Leonard's

Stew Leonard's

100 Westport Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851

A grocery store?? More like the “Disneyland of dairy stores” according to the New York Times. You can’t say you’ve been to Fairfield County if you didn’t go to Stew Leonard’s. It’s a Connecticut rite of passage and has singing fruits and veggies, a petting zoo and the best frozen yogurt. We recommend the pistachio. Stew Leonard’s holds the record for Ripley’s Believe It or Not: world’s largest dairy store.

New Canaan Nature Center

Grace Farms

Grace Farms

365 Lukes Wood Road, New Canaan, CT 06840
, (203) 920-1702

We find this sanctuary to be an ultra peaceful place to enjoy nature, attend a tea service or visit the art museum. We even had our first snowshoeing experience here. Although admission is free to the public, you’ll still need to make a reservation for a visit on their website.

The Glass House
