A Norwalk staple that is fun for the whole fam! They have 3 “touch tanks” where you can feel the sharks, jellyfish and stingrays. The aquarium is located in the waterfront area of SoNo (South Norwalk). In this vibrant neighborhood, you’ll find lots of shops, restaurants and a trail along the Long Island Sound.
A grocery store?? More like the “Disneyland of dairy stores” according to the New York Times. You can’t say you’ve been to Fairfield County if you didn’t go to Stew Leonard’s. It’s a Connecticut rite of passage and has singing fruits and veggies, a petting zoo and the best frozen yogurt. We recommend the pistachio. Stew Leonard’s holds the record for Ripley’s Believe It or Not: world’s largest dairy store.
The New Canaan Nature Center is focused on environmental education, offering interactive exhibits, guided tours, and hands-on programs for both children and adults. These activities are designed to help visitors learn about local flora, fauna, and conservation practices
