Portland International Airport is a big airport and probably cheaper to fly into. Bend is about 3 hours southeast through beautiful Mt. Hood National Forest.

Bend has many airbnb or vrbo options. We recommend trying to stay on the West side of town close to Drake Park, or the Old Mill area, or on the river if you feel fancy. We would advise to book as early as you know you can come because prices will increase and many of the best spots fill up quickly!! BOOK BOOK BOOK :)

This is the best hotel in Bend! For those of you who are out-of-towners McMenamins is a pretty big 'chain hotel' of sorts all over Oregon. They are all funky, different, and a ton of fun! This hotel has a courtyard dedicated to a whisky and cigar bar, indoor movie theater with big comfy couches, and an open roof soaking pool. We recommend checking out the website!
