What should I wear?

Answer

It's a garden party, so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and a little bit fancy if you like! No need to wear a jacket and tie unless you want to. We will be outside on the grass all day and into the evening, so plan for warm weather and later evening dancing. Flat shoes are recommended for the grass.

What should I bring?

Just bring yourselves (and maybe your favourite yard game!) We really appreciate folks travelling to come celebrate with us. Please don't worry about bringing gifts or food.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! We have lots of kids coming and there will be fun garden games and activities.

Will there be shade?

Answer

Definitely! It may be a hot day. We have rented a large tent for the dinner and dancing to take place. You will be able to sit under the tent to get out of the sun! There are also shaded areas of the garden. The ceremony will likely be out in the open so wear sunscreen!

When should I get there?

Please arrive after 3pm to settle in before the 4pm ceremony.

Where do I park?

There is parking in front on Malinda & Andy's and along Dryden road. Please don't block their neighbours' driveways.

Will there be dogs?

Yes, there are going to be several friendly dogs on the property.

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! We'll have snacks out for cocktail hour. Dinner will be a Taco bar where you can make your very own dream tacos and load up on delicious salad. We'll have vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free, and kosher options. If you have any other dietary restrictions, please let us know.
