Little did they know, Helen and Sam grew up only a few blocks apart in Raleigh, NC. They shared their first dance doing the box step in braces at their 5th grade cotillion class. Helen remembers that she got in the car with her mom after class and she said "That Sam Bryant is such a gentleman, you should marry that boy!" They didn't meet again until they were 16 at the happiest place on earth: the DMV. Sam said hi to Helen and her heart basically melted. Again, they were separated by time until fate brought them together the first day of freshman year at Wake Forest University. Sam was trying to meet some girls by offering to "help" put up TVs in their rooms. He happened upon Helen's room and immediately introduced himself to her. From the top bunk Helen responded "I know you already." The rest is history. Their first date was a beach formal sophomore year and after almost 8 years together now (time flies!) they still feel like kids in love.
