Accessed only through Honest Chocolate Cafe, and nestled in a romantic Mediterranean style courtyard, it was one of the only true speakeasies in the country when it opened in 2014. 7 years later they have over 100 gins on their menu, of which over 80 are made in South Africa.
Serving refined bistro-style fare, in a relaxed, contemporary space. Grub & Vine’s seasonal menu changes regularly and the wine list features some of South Africa’s most respected producers. Be sure to check out their Jazz Bar in the back of the building!

Located between two worlds, one wild and one tamed, the Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden borders the manicured suburbs of Stellenbosch and a rugged mountain wilderness where leopard still roam. In this garden, the artist explores the Jungian notion of ‘the wilderness within’. More than 60 sculptures constituting a comprehensive record of his artistic development thus far have been carefully sited along 4 km of paths.
Choose from 3 different routes at different levels of intensity, which explore both Vineyards and natural Fynbos on foot. A selection of three wines accompanied by a light lunch during the walk, ending with a Wine & Chocolate Pairing at the end of the walk.
