Our Story
In the fall of 2021, Sam and Grace were introduced by a mutual friend at St. Joe's. Fast forward to the spring of 2022 when Sam got placed as a Young Life leader on the same team as Grace at Haverford. For years, Sam and Grace did ministry alongside each other and grew as great friends. In that time, they spent nearly every day together, whether for Young Life or a roommate game night at her apartment. He walked her home from class, brought her cinnamon toast crunch on sad days, and much more. Contrary to her oblivion, Sam knew exactly what he was doing.
In February of 2023, Grace left for a 6 month trip abroad in Chile. While there, Sam remained a loyal friend, calling to check in each week. When Grace returned to Philly, he ensured he'd be there as soon as her flight landed... despite being home in VA for the summer. After the time away, she realized she *might* have a crush on the boy. In the first week of the fall semester, she told him, and the rest is history.
