Sadly, due to the current circumstances, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding reception. Obviously, this was extremely devastating news to us. We've been waiting a very long two years to celebrate our marriage. But we are thankful that we were still able to marry each other on May 30th with God's blessing. Welcome Mr. & Mrs. Jamoua!! We are sad that we didn't get to celebrate with all of you! We will certainly post pictures when we get them! Thank you for understanding. ***If you would like to send a gift please see FAQs***
As many first dates are a little nerve racking, Gianna and Sams seemed too good to be true. It was like they instantly connected and didn't want the night to end. Sam and Gianna started the night off in Downtown at Granite City for dinner and drinks. Things were going so well that after dinner they decided to explore the city for a nightcap and ended up at Wright and Company. As they were driving home, they realized that the evening was more then they expected and couldn't help but to stop for a FINAL, FINAL night cap at The Morrie in Royal Oak before they ended the night. From that night on the rest was history.
As most proposals are unknown, this one was for the books. Sam had planned a weekend camping trip up to Port Austin with some good friends. Little did Gianna know she was about to become the future Mrs. Jamoua! Port Austin was a place where they shared their first sunset sitting on the beach. Since it was such a romantic place for them, Sam gathered his friends to convince Gianna that a weekend away is just what they all needed. As the arrived Gianna and Sam took a stroll down the beach where the sun was about to set. There was a photographer waiting for them who played along with the plan. The photographer began to pose them and at that moment is when Sam got down on one knee and asked Gianna to be his wife. In a complete shock, she said YES!
