We’re getting married!

In September of 2016, I joined the University Choir and Orchestra at California Baptist University. Sam played the viola in the orchestra. We met briefly at a friends apartment that night, but lost touch after that. But in October, we went on a tour with our group. We sat together on the bus off and on throughout the weekend, and ate most of our meals in the same group of friends. The last night of tour, we sat next to each other for the whole five - hour bus ride home. As the bus pulled in to the school Sam passed around his phone "to get everybody's phone number" (ok, Sam!). Before I even got to my apartment, there was a text from Sam. The rest is pretty much history! We texted/hung out pretty much everyday after that.

Sam had been teasing me for MONTHS leading up to this. Our church was keeping its tradition of renting out a theatre to see the newest Star Wars movie. At all of these showings, there is usually a Star Wars trivia game. Come to find out, the gamed was rigged!

As you are (hopefully) aware, we will be postponing our wedding celebration until further notice due to Covid-19. However, to enable us to start our lives together, we WILL still be getting married in a small home wedding on May 2nd (this will be immediate family only, as we want to respect social distancing and keep everyone safe). Once this is all over, we will be throwing a large reception (date TBD). We can't wait to celebrate with you whenever that day comes! For now, we love you all and pray that you are staying safe and healthy during this crazy time.
