Our story began in 2021, when Sam and Emily first connected on Hinge. After a few messages back and forth, they decided to meet for a first date. It was an evening filled with great conversation, laughter, and deep discussions. And of all things, they found a shared love for *Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat*. From the catchy tunes to the unforgettable characters, it was clear that they had more in common than they realized. But despite the strong connection, life got busy, and they lost touch after a couple of months. Yet, every so often, Sam and Emily both found themselves thinking back to that first date and wondering, “What if?” Fast forward to the spring of 2023. Sam was scrolling Instagram when he saw the big announcement—*Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat* was being made into a movie! Immediately, he thought of Emily and the great conversations they’d shared about the show. Feeling a little nostalgic (and a little bold), he decided to reach out to her. Emily, of course, was just as excited as Sam about the news, and it wasn’t long before they were chatting again as if no time had passed at all. This time, there was no hesitation—they agreed to meet for a second first date, this time at Genna’s Cocktail Lounge in Madison, WI. The cozy, laid-back atmosphere felt just right for picking up where they left off. Over drinks, they laughed about how life had brought them back together, and as they talked and laughed into the night, they quickly realized that the connection they’d once felt was still very much alive, only stronger this time around. From that night forward, Sam and Emily couldn’t stop smiling, making plans, and cherishing the new memories they were creating. Their love story, sparked by a Broadway musical, was now in full swing, and they couldn’t be happier. Now, as we look forward to the next chapter, we’re beyond excited to celebrate with all of you.
