Question

What COVID-19 precautions will you take?

Answer

We take COVID-19 seriously. We strongly encouraged everyone to be fully vaccinated before coming to the wedding. All staff will wear masks. Please stay home if you feel unwell. If you are flying please wear a mask during your entire journey, including the terminals. At the wedding, masks are required when indoors and on the shuttle. We will provide surgical masks and hand sanitizer at the venue. We encourage double masking or for you to bring your own higher quality mask, such as a N95, KN95, or KF94. If you are over the age of 12 you must be fully vaccinated to ride the shuttle. The delta variant can spread outdoors in crowded conditions. Please wear a mask during the ceremony and while in any space with a high density of guests, such as the dance floor, buffet line, or bar. (You must wear a mask indoors). If it rains the ceremony will still be outdoors (under the tent instead of in the garden).

Question

What is the shuttle schedule?

Answer

If you're staying at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, a complimentary shuttle will be available to take you to and from the French House. All passengers need to wear a mask. Passengers over the age of 12 must be fully vaccinated. If you have chosen not to get the vaccine, we ask that you arrange your own transportation for everyone's safety. The shuttle will depart from the Holiday Inn Express at 4:15 pm. Look for a large van marked "A Savannah Nite". The shuttle will depart from The French House twice, at 10:00 pm and then again at 11:00 pm.

Question

What other COVID-19 precautions will you take?

Answer

If you have specific questions or concerns please contact Elizabeth or a member of the wedding party and she will get back to you ASAP.

Question

Will the wedding/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. A buffet dinner will be served under an outdoor tent. Reception spaces include the tent, garden, and inside of the French House, which has A/C and bathrooms. September 26th is starting to look like it will be a bit on the chilly side, I would suggest wearing sleeves or bringing a shawl/coat with you for the late evening hours. For people considering heels: The tent has an astroturf floor so you should not sink too much. Do be careful in the garden (ceremony location) though!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive between 4:30 - 4:50 pm. The ceremony will start at 5 pm sharp.

Question

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

Yes. The French House is located in a public park with lots of parking.

Question

Do you know about my food allergy?

Answer

If you have a dietary restriction you can make note of it when you RSVP. If you have trouble with this then please reach out to a member of the wedding party, we absolutely want to accommodate your needs.

Question

Is the French House accessible?

Answer

There is a ramp entrance on the side of French House, which connects to the caterer's side of the tent. Bathrooms (with handicap stall with raised seat and grab bar) are located next to the ramp entrance.

Question

Bathrooms?

Answer

There are two bathrooms on the main floor. A bathroom with several stalls, including a handicap stall, is located next to the ramp entrance/kitchen side of the house. A private bathroom is located under the stairs, it also has grab bars. Another bathroom is upstairs. All bathrooms will be gender neutral.

Question

What color are the bridesmaid dresses?

Answer

The bridesmaids are wearing lavender dresses. Please wear whatever color you wish!
