Question

When are you two arriving in Vegas?

Answer

We'll be there Thursday, the 15th and staying at W Hotel! We have some pre-wedding things to do with our wedding coordinator and be transported to the courthouse and back. We'll be around, let us know where you are - we want to see you! We'll also be staying in Vegas the following week for a little post-wedding vaca, feel free to send us cash for this in lieu of wedding gifts!

Where should I stay?

Answer

El *loves* Vegas so feel free to reach out to her for more personalized recommendations. However, we do recommend those with limited mobility or preference to stay close-by reserve at W Hotel or Mandalay Bay (they are connected via the casino floor). There's a free tram that connects Mandalay Bay to Luxor and Excalibur, and those two tend to be more affordable options. We do think it will be worth it to stay at W or Mandalay Bay, as they have been wonderful to us and their rooms cannot be overstated. We recommend you checking prices regularly as MGM and Caesars Resorts *often* run sales or promos. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at 3:15PM. There will be attendants at the lobby/guest elevators at W Hotel to guide you up the elevator (64 floors!) to the ceremony. Feel free to stop by a bar (there’s a lounge/bar right near the guest elevators) for drinks prior to coming up the elevator for the ceremony. You are allowed to bring them while mingling and enjoying views of the strip and for the ceremony. Only water will be available on the 64th floor. Seating will take place soon after.

Is there a dress code?

Non-formal, unless desired! We and our families will be dressed semi-formal but this is Vegas, please come in your favored style.

What else will be going on?

Answer

We will add more here as plans become more solidified. You will find an opportunity to inform us of your choices within the RSVP tab. For the younger crowd, we're thinking Area 15 (via lyft/taxi), walking to the Pinball Hall of Fame, the Welcome to Vegas sign; we could also stay right in the resort and go to Swingers, which seems like a huge party with dj’s, mini golf, carnival games, and drinks. We're also considering a pool day at Mandalay Bay Beach (Friday or Sunday, give us your preference) and there’s tattoos right in Mandalay Bay... If you have ideas, please let us know!

Pool Go-To's

Mandalay Bay's pool is highly regarded as one of the best on the strip. W Hotel guests get access to all areas of MB Pool as well as an additional pool for W guests only. There is a lazy river and a huge wave pool. You can bring your own inner tube (recommended) and fill it with their compressor. They also have tubes for purchase for ~$25. Guests at Mandalay Bay and W Hotel are allowed to bring 4 additional people to the pool, so don’t worry if you aren’t staying there and want to come to a pool day if we end up going that route!

Other helpful tips

All rooms in W Hotel and Mandalay Bay have soaking tubs and there’s a Lush in Mandalay Place! There is an Amazon locker hub within Mandalay Place if you want to order something but it won’t come in time for your travels - or if you don’t want to fly with it. Mandalay Place is basically a small mall and directly connects Mandalay Bay (near W Hotel) to Luxor.

Feel free to travel with your families, however only addressed names on invitations are invited to the ceremony and reception due to space limitations. Thank you for understanding.
