Our story started in Year 11. We were 15, sitting in classrooms and revising for GCSEs, when we first started talking. What began as simple conversations quickly became part of our everyday routine. On his 16th birthday, Sam asked Eden out — and that was the start. From there, we grew up together. We got through GCSEs, then college, then university — supporting each other through exams, coursework, deadlines and all the uncertainty that comes with figuring out your future. We passed our driving tests, got our first jobs, and after university were lucky enough to land roles in the careers we had worked hard for. Alongside all of that, we discovered how much we love travelling. Whether it was short trips away or bigger adventures, exploring new places became one of our favourite things to do together. Eden had always said that Cappadocia was her number one bucket list destination — the hot air balloons at sunrise had been her dream for years. So that’s where Sam proposed. Up in a hot air balloon in Cappadocia, watching the sun come up over love valley. From Year 11 to now, it’s been almost a decade. A decade of growing up side by side, hitting milestones, travelling the world a little, and steadily building a life we’re proud of. And we’re only just getting started.
