From the North Carolina Arboretum, travel 14 miles south on the Blue Ridge Parkway. You will pass through 9 tunnels; the last is "Buck Spring Tunnel". After exiting the tunnel, watch for the “Mt. Pisgah Overlook” sign on the right. Immediately after, turn left into the “Mt. Pisgah Parking Area.” If you reached the Pisgah Inn (or reached milepost 408), you have gone too far. Park at the overlook (on the right). Facing the overlook, you’ll see rock stairs on the right beside a trail sign reading “Buck Springs Overlook 500 ft & Mt. Pisgah Lodge 1.0.” Follow the stairs leading to a dirt path 500 feet to the ceremony site. Once you see 3 benches, you have reached the ceremony location. Comfortable shoes are suggested.
