Navigate to the RSVP tab or the RSVP option at the bottom of the Home page. Then, input your name exactly how it is written on your invitation. There will be a question that asks you for a song request, if you don't have one it will force you to submit video and audio of you singing an original song. (JK lol just write N/A or something)
Please RSVP by April 25th, 2026
If you need to change your RSVP, please reach out to Dani or Sam and we can adjust accordingly!
If it is indicated on your invitation, yes. Otherwise, no.
San Jose Airport is the closest. It is about a 50 minute drive from the airport to Brookdale Lodge.
It is very likely you will need a car. Rideshare is very unreliable in this area and you may not be able to get to the hotel or wedding venue this way. It is highly recommended to rent a car or drive.
The hotel is off the winding mountain highway 9. The safest route from the San Jose side of the mountains is to take highway 17 south to Scott's Valley, then Mt. Hermon Rd. through Felton to join highway 9. This is not usually the first option provided by Google Maps, but can be selected. The safest route from the Santa Cruz side of the mountain, is to take Graham Hill Rd. to Felton to join highway 9. This is not usually the first option provided by Google Maps but can be selected.
The venue is about 7 min south of the hotel off highway 9. Driving is suggested (carpooling is even better!)
Elevated garden party. Think a semi-formal, polished look that blends elegance with comfort for an outdoor setting.
It will be as temperate as it gets. May in Santa Cruz is typically around 75 degrees in the day and high 60s in the evening. For the SoCal people, it is a little colder up here, so bring a jacket.
Cocktail hour appetizers will include a full charcuterie and cheese table featuring local cheese, meats, and seasonal fruits and vegetables. Dinner is BBQ tri-tip, chicken, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and garlic bread from Mission St. BBQ. For those who don't eat meat, there will be vegan sausages as a substitute.
If you have dietary restrictions you are worried about, reach out to Sam or Dani and we will do our best to accommodate.
At the ceremony/dinner venue all alcohol is serve yourself. We will have beer, seltzers, wine, and non-alcoholic options. At the reception venue, we are prepaying for a certain amount which means it is an open bar until that amount is reached, after that it will become a cash bar. The bar is being rented out until 2 AM, so drinks can be ordered up until then.
The wedding is taking place in the mountains of Santa Cruz, close by to Henry Cowell Redwood State Park. If you have never stood next to a giant redwood, we highly recommend crossing that off your bucket list. If you are looking for something more coastal, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is a staple. Take a nice walk or rent and E-Bike (B Cycle) to coast along West Cliff Drive. If you're looking for a good sandy beach, Panther beach up Hwy 1 is a great choice! And while you're at it, keep driving up Hwy 1 to appreciate a beautiful scenic drive. If you're spending more time in the area, please feel free to reach out to Dani or Sam for more recommendations from Monterey to San Francisco!
There is a diner and a small convenience store that are a part of the Brookdale Lodge. In the town of Felton (about a 5 min drive from the lodge) they have Wild Roots Market and New Leaf Market which are local grocery stores. For restaurants, there's Redwood Pizzeria, Bruno's Bar and Grill (located in Scotts Valley), and for something more elevated Aroma (located in Ben Lomond). A trip down to Santa Cruz will have many more options.
Santa Cruz is the coastal hub, and Brookdale, Felton, Ben Lomond, and Scotts Valley are nearby redwood towns just inland. They’re all part of the same area and within a short drive of each other. Think 'same area, different vibes.'
