Travel Note
There are a number of great Airbnb rental properties available in downtown Lynchburg close to the hotel where the shuttle will leave from.
Hotel
The Craddock Terry is a beautiful luxury hotel in downtown Lynchburg, however we were unable to block any rooms here do to its small capacity.
Flight
For those interested in flying, Lynchburg has a regional airport (LYH) with service provided by American Airlines’ regional carrier, American Eagle, with service through Charlotte International Airport (CLT). The airport is about a 12 minute drive from downtown Lynchburg.
Train
We've taken Amtrak (Northeast Regional Rail) several times from Lynchburg to Philadelphia. The Amtrak station is located right across from our house and is a great alternative to driving if you are coming from the Boston, NYC, Philly or DC area.
